Wilo Certified as Top Employer 2022

Wilo and BASF have signed a partnership agreement to collaborate on expanding Wilo’s global health management programme. The place where the agreement was signed is also the hub of the collaboration, the Health Cube. This is a new health centre at the Wilo Group’s headquarters, which benefits both the employees at the Wilopark and the other 8,000 Wilo employees worldwide.

The Wilo Group is calling for water resilience measures to be implemented more rapidly. Together with numerous other global market leaders, the water technology group has signed the “Business Leaders’ Open Call to Accelerate Action on Water”. The public appeal was initiated by the Water Resilience Coalition of the CEO Water Mandate, an initiative founded by the UN Secretary-General and the UN Global Compact.

The Wilo Group has once again won the German Sustainability Award (DNP). The jury selected the multinational water technology group as the winner for the ‘Hydraulics, Pumps and Compressors’ industry, recognising, among other things, Wilo’s holistic focus on sustainable innovation.

The Wilo Group has been awarded the platinum medal by EcoVadis for the fourth time in a row. The rating agency also graded the multinational water technology group’s commitment to sustainability as “outstanding” for the second time. Only 1 per cent of companies audited by EcoVadis – now numbering more than 150,000 – achieve the platinum rating.

Wilo has bolstered its support for the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) sector with the appointment of Lee Green as national sales manager for the UK and Ireland.

Under the title of “Water – Shaping the Future”, leading representatives from the science, political and business sectors gathered together in Venice for the annual Wilo industry conference. Invited to attend by the multinational water technology group, various experts discussed the key challenges they face in dealing with this increasingly scarce resource and the ways in which they could respond to them.
