The introduction of the stainless steel and plastic Wilden Shift ADS options allows Wilden air-operated double-diaphragm pumps to be offered for a greater number of new and existing applications, including sanitary (food & beverage, personal care products and pharmaceuticals), hazardous chemicals and corrosive environments. The release of the stainless steel and plastic Shift models completes the Wilden pump-line offering for the Saniflo FDA, Advanced FIT (bolted), Advanced (bolted) and Original (clamped) air-operated double-diaphragm pumps. Most existing Wilden pump users will be able to upgrade to the new materials of construction by purchasing a 316 stainless steel or polypropylene Pro-Flo Shift retrofit kit.

Launched in June 2013, the Wilden Pro-Flo Shift ADS represents a significant breakthrough in energy efficiency within the air-operated double-diaphragm pump category. Thanks to its revolutionary design, the patent-pending Pro-Flo Shift ADS allows Wilden air-operated double-diaphragm pumps to achieve up to a 60% savings in air consumption over other competitive air-operated double-diaphragm pump technologies, while providing more product yield per standard cubic foot per minute (SCFM). While the Wilden Pro-Flo Shift dramatically improves energy efficiency, it also costs 50% less than other electronically-actuated ADS units, is submersible and features plug-and-play operation. Additionally, the Wilden Pro-Flo Shift has fewer operating parts, which equates to less downtime and simple maintenance.

The Wilden Pro-Flo Shift is available in 316 stainless steel, polypropylene, aluminum and nickel-plated aluminum in 38 mm (1-1/2”), 51 mm (2”) and 76 mm (3”) sizes and features maximum discharge pressures to 8.6 bar (125 psig), maximum flows to 1056 lpm (279 gpm) and maximum solid-handling size to 13 mm (1/2”). The Wilden Pro-Flo Shift is available with maximum suction lifts to 7.2 m (23.8’) dry and 9.6 m (30.6’) wet.
