The LEWA Group Takes over Responsibility for the Sale of NIKKISO Centrifugal Canned Motor Pumps

his marks the end of a multi-year, global restructuring process that also included a technical redesign and adjustment of the centrifugal canned motor pumps to global requirements. These centrifugal canned motor pumps are certified according to the specifications of GB 3836-2010 for China, and according to the specifications of ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU for Europe. Models according to DIN EN ISO 2858 and API 685 standard are also available.
"The Chinese market has been gaining more and more significance, making it extremely important for us to have an on-the-ground presence with our own subsidiary to shorten delivery times and service routes," says Stefan Glasmeyer, CSO of the LEWA Group. "We will now meet this challenge with our production location in Dalian as well as the service and sales team there, which currently includes 30 employees." In addition to its own employees, LEWA NIKKISO also has regional representatives in China who support the core team with the development of the market and the expansion of existing contacts.

"The addition of NIKKISO centrifugal canned motor pumps to our portfolio for the Chinese market gives us the ideal supplement to our large range of LEWA diaphragm metering pumps with which we were previously represented in China," says Harry Wang, Managing Director of LEWA China, pointing out the advantages. "Because both pump types can be used in similar industrial branches but for different tasks, we can expand our product range extensively."
The grand opening of the new branch took place on September 24, 2019, with representatives of NIKKISO Co. Ltd., LEWA GmbH and the newly formed sales and service team in attendance.
