The 2017 Annual Shareholders’ Meeting of GF Will Take Place at the IWC Arena in Schaffhausen
The 121th Annual Shareholders’ Meeting of Georg Fischer Ltd will be held on 19 April 2017 at the IWC Arena in Schaffhausen.
Due to the closure of the event hall at the former iron foundry, a change of location for the GF Annual Shareholders’ Meeting has become necessary. „We are looking forward to the new location, and we are convinced that we can offer our shareholders a worthy event in a familiar way at the IWC Arena,” explains Andreas Koopmann, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Georg Fischer Ltd.
The IWC Arena is centrally located in the Breite Quartier in Schaffhausen. In winter, the location is used as an ice rink, while in summer, it serves as an event hall for a variety of activities. It can easily be reached by public transport. The IWC Arena is being managed by the cooperative KSS which is majority owned by the city of Schaffhausen.
Every year, more than 1 000 shareholders and various guests from business, politics and society are participating in the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting of Georg Fischer Ltd.
