Pentair Increases Quarterly Cash Dividend 11%

Directors of Pentair, Inc. (NYSE: PNR) increased the company's regular quarterly cash dividend from 19 cents per share to 21 cents per share.

This represents an 11 percent increase, which will be effective with the dividend payable May 9, 2003, to shareholders of record at the close of business on April 25, 2003. This is the 27th consecutive annual dividend increase in the company's 37-year history.
