New Products Drive Federal Pump

09.10.2014

Federal Pump, an 87 year old Brooklyn, NY manufacturer of centrifugal pumps for the buildings industry, was awarded several prestigious high rise projects in NYC after introducing its newest stainless steel pre-engineered and packaged variable speed potable water system along with its recent upgrade to its MSC chopper pumps for wastewater applications.

The innovative water booster system design varies the speed of the pumps as water consumption varies in the building and serves the 72 story NYC high rise along with a similar design serving a Rockefeller Center domestic water system upgrade. Its chopper pumps designed with hardened blades and tungsten carbide tipped impellers now has extended 3 year manufacturer warranty due to its rugged design and 5 year test run in the NYC wastewater markets.

In 2013-2014 Federal Pump has upgraded its horizontal split case offering to 15,000 GPM, expanded its engineered Domestic water systems providing up to 400PSI water boost, expanded its chopper pumps, and introduced its energy saving vacuum condensate pre-engineered systems with the expectation of 5 new products planned for 2014-Q4 and 2015-Q1.
