Neptune Chemical Pump to Display Full Product Line at 82nd Annual WEFTEC Show

17.08.2009

Neptune Chemical Pump Co., Inc., a leading manufacturer of chemical metering pumps, announced today that it will exhibit in booth 3530 in the B Hall at the 82nd Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC). This year’s show, which is the largest water-quality event in North America, will be held from Oct. 10-14, 2009, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

Neptune is a global leader in the design and manufacture of chemical metering pumps and chemical feed systems for the water and wastewater industries. In 2008, Neptune became an operating company within the Dover Corporation’s [NYSE: DOV] Pump Solutions Group (PSG). PSG combines six leading pump manufacturers into a cohesive pump organization with a broad array of transfer technologies. Neptune’s Fluid Dynamics, Inc., a polymer system manufacturer, will also be in attendance at WEFTEC in booth 3532 (B Hall) and will display dynaBLEND products.

Neptune is planning to display its industry-leading products at WEFTEC, most notably:

  • Series 7000 Pumps — The Neptune Series 7000 "dia-PUMP" is a mechanically actuated diaphragm metering pump designed for water, wastewater and process applications. The mechanical design eliminates the use of contour plates on the liquid side of the diaphragm. The simple, straight through valve and head design allows improved flow characteristics.
  • PZ Series Pumps — The Neptune Series PZ pump is another ideal application for water and wastewater treatment. The pump operates on any single-phase voltage from 94 VAC to 264 VAC. It also features a stroking speed of 300 strokes per minute that allows for greater turndown and more even distribution of chemicals.
  • Polymaster Polymer Makedown Systems — Polymaster systems are available as either polymer feeders or liquid polymer blend-and-feed systems. As such, they dilute, mix and thoroughly activate emulsion, dispersion and solution polymers, while the degree of polymer activation is not affected by fluctuating water pressures or dilution-water ratio changes.

In addition to the technologies of Neptune that will be on display, Neptune’s booth will also feature the air-operated double-diaphragm pump technology and the centrifugal-pump offerings of fellow PSG members Wilden Pump & Engineering LLC, Grand Terrace, Ca, and Griswold Pump Company, Grand Terrace, CA.
