Metering System for Sludge Dewatering: Optimised Polymer Preparation Thanks to Innovative Design

With its new fourth treatment stage, the Bickenbach sewage plant is taking a decisive step towards sustainable water and drinking water protection. The modular DULCOZON OZLa ozone system from ProMinent removes micropollutants such as drug residues, pesticides and hormones almost completely and sustainably improves water quality in the Rhine-Main region.

ProMinent is expanding its DULCONNEX digital platform with the new Remote Control Module. The platform connects measuring, control and metering devices, enabling processes to be monitored centrally, data to be evaluated and devices to be controlled directly from a PC workstation – conveniently from a remote location.

OTEC Präzisionsfinish develops and manufactures machines for surface finishing. The company relies on high quality – and on the new metering pump beta/X from ProMinent. It ensures precisely controlled lubricant supply in the vibratory finishing process and impresses with its reliable performance, easy integration and high user-friendliness.

The new beta/ X metering pump is easy and intuitive to operate, easy to read, and easy to assemble and disassemble. Its design is modern and powerful. Its technology is correspondingly robust and durable. Designed to be completely PFAS-free, it is fully recyclable and therefore highly sustainable.

Reliable monitoring of the absence of free chlorine is essential in numerous water treatment processes. The breakthrough of even the smallest concentrations of free chlorine can irreversibly destroy membranes in reverse osmosis systems and cause major damage. ProMinent GmbH has designed the panel-mounted monitoring system DULCOZERO FCL for these applications.

A global manufacturer of confectionery most recently used an injection system with a twelve-headed pump and single motor from a well-known LEWA competitor. However, the system, which dated back to the 1990s, could only be operated manually, meaning that it had to be monitored around the clock by an operator.
