ITT Boosts Presence in India

Vice President of ITT Corporation, Brenda Reichelderfer, has announced that ITT will be expanding its presence in India by opening both manufacturing and engineering facilities.

“We hope to improve water and wastewater distribution and treatment processes aimed (in South Asia) markets with products developed and manufactured here,” she said at World Water Day in India. As well as replacing the obsolete infrastructure and adding new technologies, there must be more education, research and government planning which requires collaborative working.

She added that small-scale solutions that are independent of infrastructure are essential to bring potable water and sanitation to the population.
