Italian Leak Detection Systems Manufacturer to Become Part of Atlas Copco Group

ESA Service S.r.l, (“ESA Service”), a company designing and manufacturing leak detection and gas recovery systems, will become part of Atlas Copco Group.

ESA Service is a privately owned company headquartered at its manufacturing location in Treviglio, Italy. The company has 40 employees and in 2023 revenues amounted to 10.3 MEUR (MSEK 118).

“ESA Service was founded in 1980 by the current owners and has exhibited strong growth by serving a well-diversified range of industrial customers”, said Geert Follens, Business Area President Vacuum Technique. “Through this acquisition we further strengthen our leak detection core knowledge as well as gaining a leak detection and gas recovery systems manufacturer in Europe.”

The purchase price is not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2024.

The company will become part of the Scientific Vacuum division within the Vacuum Technique Business Area.
