ISH 2025: Wilo Earns High Marks for Sustainable Products, Systems and Solutions

Armstrong Fluid Technology recently announced the launch of its Systems Envelope – Fluid Management Station (SE-FMS), a modular solution designed to revolutionize fluid management in HVAC systems. The SE-FMS is engineered to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce costs, and deliver optimized performance throughout the system lifecycle.

The President & Global CEO of the Wilo Group, Oliver Hermes, has been honoured with the French National Order of Merit by decree of Emmanuel Macron. The French Ambassador to Germany, François Delattre, awarded the insignia of the Ordre national du Mérite at a ceremony in Berlin and honoured Oliver Hermes as a champion of Franco-German friendship and the European project.

Polymer film fabrication is an essential process in various industries, from food packaging to battery production. The demand for precise, high-quality films is on the rise, especially as multilayer films become more common. However, one of the major challenges in this process is air infiltration, which can result in bubbles or gaps in the film, significantly impacting the product’s performance and durability.

The WILO SE Supervisory Board has extended ahead of schedule the appointment of the incumbent President & Global CEO Oliver Hermes for a further six years until 31 December 2031. In addition, the Supervisory Board has appointed the Wilo Group’s Global Vice President Strategy, Tim Huetter, as General Representative of the water technology group.

The Management team of the KSB Group will continue to manage the company together until the end of 2027. The Administrative Board of KSB Management SE has extended the contract of Dr Stephan Timmermann (64) as per his request until 31 December 2027. Ralf Kannefass and Dr Matthias Schmitz have also agreed to extend their term of office by a further three years.

Wilo and BASF have signed a partnership agreement to collaborate on expanding Wilo’s global health management programme. The place where the agreement was signed is also the hub of the collaboration, the Health Cube. This is a new health centre at the Wilo Group’s headquarters, which benefits both the employees at the Wilopark and the other 8,000 Wilo employees worldwide.
