Having held several roles for Xylem in both the UK and Italy, Gary brings over 30 years of pump industry experience to this newly created position, including more than a decade serving on the BPMA’s Circulator Pumps Committee.

He combines in-depth technical knowledge with a range of sales and marketing skills, along with a strong understanding of key market sectors, including distributors, installers and end-users.

Initially, his role at the BPMA will be to instigate and manage a number of special projects, but ultimately, this will expand to encompass the majority of technical functions within the organisation.

Gary commented: “I’m delighted to be joining the BPMA, an organisation I have admired and had the pleasure of working alongside for many years. My role is to support the pump industry and ensure that its voice is heard on all and any technical matters. I’m looking forward to meeting the BPMA membership, many of whom are old friends and colleagues, in the coming weeks and months.”

Steve Schofield, Director and CEO at the BPMA added, “We are delighted to be welcoming Gary into the team here at the BPMA. He has been a longstanding supporter of the Association, having engaged with us extensively whilst working for Xylem here in the UK. He brings a wealth of experience to the new role of Technical Services Officer, which I feel sure will serve both him and our growing membership very well indeed.”
