Last year, the Wilo Group submitted its targets for decreasing their CO2 emission to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The short- and long-range emission reduction targets have now been confirmed by the initiative.

The Wilo Group continued to grow profitably and sustainably in 2023. Despite a challenging market environment, the multinational technology group achieved record net sales of around EUR 2 billion in the 2023 financial year. This corresponds to a currency-adjusted increase of 10.4 per cent compared to the previous year.

For the study, the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen and the Complexity Management Academy analysed the sustainable innovation management of over 140 companies.
