Atlas Copco Has Acquired a Turkish Distributor of Compressed Air Solutions

Atlas Copco has acquired Hamamcıoğlu Makina (HAMAK), a Turkish company mainly focused on sales and service of air compressor solutions, providing compressors, parts, and service to the Turkish market.

Hamamcıoğlu Makina has its head office in Istanbul, Türkiye, and has 23 employees. The company has customers in industries such as textile, iron and steel, automotive, chemicals and food and beverage. In 2022, the company had revenues of approximately 120 MTRL (around 75 MSEK).*

“Hamamcıoğlu Makina has decades of experience of providing compressed air solutions to customers in many industries throughout Türkiye,” said Vagner Rego, Business Area President Compressor Technique. “This acquisition will increase our local presence and service capabilities.”

The purchase price is not disclosed. The acquired business becomes part of the Service Division within the Compressor Technique Business Area.
