Italian Pump Manufacturer Has Become Part of Atlas Copco Group

LEWA, part of Atlas Copco Group Industrial Flow division, brings together a portfolio of hygienic industrial flow technologies designed to help manufacturers in the food and beverage industry maximize production efficiency while maintaining product integrity.

Atlas Copco has launched a new range of Emergency Trash Pumps (ETP) to complement its existing dewatering portfolio. The new pumps provide a robust and portable solution for fast and reliable water removal in challenging environments. Designed for construction, mining, quarrying and other industrial dewatering applications, the ETP range offers dedicated models for both clean water and dirty water handling.

With the introduction of the GHS VSD⁺ vacuum pump series, Atlas Copco has taken vacuum technology to a new level. Whereas vacuum systems used to consume energy regardless of demand, modern oil-sealed screw pumps are efficient systems that deliver vacuum according to demand.

LACO is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, US, and manufactures comprehensive vacuum solutions, vacuum chambers and advanced leak detection equipment, designed for aerospace, research and development, and diverse industrial applications.

Sulzer has signed a long-term Corporate Procurement Agreement (CPA) with Aramco. The agreement sets a framework for the supply of centrifugal pumps, spare parts, and aftermarket services across Aramco’s global operations under a five-year strategic partnership, with an option to extend for an additional three years.

Håkan Andersson has been appointed President of the Industrial Technique business area and member of Group Management, effective June 1, 2026. Håkan Andersson is currently President for the General Industry and Assembly Systems division within the same business area.
