Atlas Copco Group Has Acquired a Compressor Distributor in Slovakia

August 22, 2024 marked a significant milestone in the history of Atlas Copco Group. The Groups employee driven global initiative, Water for All, celebrates its 40th anniversary, an anniversary that represents four decades of unwavering commitment to making clean and safe water universally available.

Integrated Pump Rental (“IPR”), a specialty rental provider of dewatering solutions in South-Africa, will become part of Atlas Copco Group.

Atlas Copco is expanding its range of WEDA electric submersible pumps in response to increased requirements on dewatering pump wear resistance and autonomous operation. The four new models feature Atlas Copco’s patented Wear Deflector Technology, which draws on the company’s engineering design expertise combined with modern modelling and manufacturing techniques to deliver superior pump reliability and longer service life in extremely arduous operating environments.

Atlas Copco’s footprint and expertise have improved critical dewatering operations on a strategic infrastructure project in The Philippines. The Dipolog-Dapitan bridge project is one of several development initiatives on the island of Mindanao, intended to boost economic growth in the region. Despite high levels of rainfall, safe working conditions have been maintained and the project has been kept on schedule through the deployment of Atlas Copco dewatering pumps.

Atlas Copco recently introduced a new innovative solution for the beer bottling process – the Beer Foam Separator (BFS 900). Built to be used in combination with its industry 4.0 ready GHS VSD+ screw vacuum pump, the addition of the beer foam separator is primed to improve energy efficiency, reduce lifecycle costs and lower the rejection rate of over and underfilled bottles in the process.

Emcovele S.A., a compressor distributor in Ecuador, has become part of Atlas Copco Group. The company, located in Quito and Guayaquil, has 49 employees, and offers sales and service of compressed air technology.
