22.03.2012

Advanced Design Technology announces the appointment of Ahtti Co., Ltd. (Ahtti) as exclusive distributor of ADT’s TURBOdesign Suite products in South Korea.

A Korean-based point of contact reflects the local need for state-of-the-art tools for turbomachinery design and analysis and the impressive growth ADT has experienced in this country. This agreement underscores ADT’s commitment to providing local support and design services to its existing and new customers.

ADT’s TURBOdesign Suite is a turbomachinery specific design, analysis and optimization package built around the 3D inverse design methodology. The inverse approach helps design engineers develop high performance components while shortening the overall design cycle. Leading companies in aerospace, automotive, industrial, power generation and refrigeration apply TURBOdesign Suite as the standard design tool to achieve higher performance along with better knowledge transfer between teams and departments.

“We are pleased to bring ADT s premier turbomachinery design solution to our customers. Customers can now design innovative turbomachinery blades very quickly with strong capability using ADT’s inverse design method,” says Keun-Jong Park, president of Ahtti.

“Ahtti is a recognized premier provider of computer aided engineering (CAE) solutions in South Korea with an impressive customer base in the automotive, shipbuilding, aerospace, defence and heavy machinery industries,” comments professor Mehrdad Zangeneh, Ph.D., founder and managing director of ADT. “We are looking forward to complementing its offerings with our leading turbomachinery design optimization and analysis tools.”
