Sandnes Municipality in Norway selected the ABS solution for 5 Major Waste Water pumping stations based on ABS dry installed concept.

Dry installed pumps in combination with advanced design features to enhance the operation of the system offer many advantages.

HMS – health management is top of mind for the municipality of Sandnes. As pioneers in the field, Sandnes had extra concern that the investment in five new pumping stations would safeguard the highest possible health and safety standard.

“Sandnes Municipallty have a long history using ABS equipment, the concept behind the pumping stations have been developed in close co-operation with the customer”, says Atle Oxaas Sales Manager ABS Norway.

Facts:

The turnkey project in Sandnes comprises virtually everything except the buildings. The regional ABS office in Stavanger will deliver and install the complete solution right from the design stage; concrete pump sumps for 18 ABS dryinstalled sewage pumps FR, pipe works, automation, emergancy power aggregates, valves, control and monitoring equipment

The project is one of the largest wastewater contract in Norwegian history worth 35 MSEK.
