Mostra Convegno Expocomfort will launch two new events in 2015: MCE SAUDI from 4 to 6 May in Riyadh and MCE ASIA from 2 to 4 September in Singapore.

Just a few months after the closure of the 39th edition of MCE - Mostra Convegno Expocomfort, registering an all-time best for attendance figures with more than 2,000 exhibitors and 156,000 trade visitors who made their way to the show from 147 countries, a host of exhibitors have already started signing up for the two new international shows scheduled for 2015.
An important challenge taken on by Reed Exhibitions Group, the world’s leading organiser of exhibitions and events and the organiser of MCE, bridging the gap to further improve the excellence of plant engineering technology aimed to highlight energy efficiency at MCE, and its impact on those countries that have great potential for developing.
In fact, according to the latest figures elaborated by CRESME, investment spending in the construction industry will stimulate domestic productivity growth (+ 0.2%) in 2014, which is projected to be slightly higher in 2015 (+0.6%), and +1.7% in 2016, fueled by a recovery plan regarding residential building that generates tax credit facility on property renovation and energy qualification. Moreover, there are another geographical areas, where the market is lively with an increase in demand for systems and technologies in the residential and industrial installations industry therefore, exploiting new business opportunities. Plus, according to CRESME, the global building investment volume rose by almost 70% during the 2000s focused on older industrialized countries, whereas today 60% of the current total investment is going to focus on emergent markets and developing economies, which it is likely to increase to 66% in 2017.

Saudi Arabia, in more detail, is the largest of the 6 GCC countries (Gulf Cooperation Council), with a population that is expected to reach 37 million inhabitants by 2020, a rate of urbanization that over the past decade has grown steadily reaching 83% (to make a like-for-like comparison, Italy has reached 62%) and a reasonable political stability. The two largest cities Riyadh (4.5 million people) and Jeddah (about 3 million people), are dynamic metropolis maintaining their trends of stable growth. Thence, over the next few years demography, economic growth and urbanization will support the development of the housing market (total housing stock expected to reach 7 million units by 2020). The second international event conceived by Reed Exhibitions is MCE ASIA, scheduled for 2 – 4 September 2015 in Singapore, to be held in Marina Bay Sands, in conjunction with Building Eco Xpo (BEX) Asia, the premier business platform for Southeast Asia showcasing cutting-edge sustainable technologies in building design and architecture organized by Reed Exhibitions Ltd.
For quite some time now, BEX ASIA, has been a point of reference for all trade professionals of this geographical region. According to official figures published by Frost & Sullivan, in June 2014, the construction industry in Asia Pacific has generated 494.49 billion dollars in revenue in 2013, and forecast predicts a massive increase to 750,00 billion dollars in 2018.
