Access is completely free to the exhibition at the 9th International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC), to be held at the Qatar National Convention Centre in Doha from 7 to 9 December, with exhibition visitors able to enjoy a packed complementary program.

Visitors will be able to attend one panel or technical session from the main conference, taking their pick from five panel sessions, which will address the most significant trends, challenges and opportunities facing the industry, and over 60 technical sessions.

The exhibition itself will feature more than 90 exhibitors, showcasing the latest technologies, new products and valuable industry services. It will also be an excellent opportunity to network during the coffee and lunch breaks with the 5,000 oil and gas industry professionals expected to attend this year’s event.

There will be 23 hours of technical content on the exhibition floor during the Knowledge Sharing ePoster Presentations, a non-technical seminar ‘Participating in Qatar Petroleum Tenders’, as well as additional technical presentations by exhibitors over the course of the three days.

There will be more insights to be gained in the exhibition pavilions. At the IPTC Awards Pavilion, Shell and Total will be presenting on their integrated projects that made it to the finals of the IPTC Excellence in Project Integration Awards. Over in the IPTC Youth Pavilion there will be a range of activities aimed at students and young professionals, including IPTC’s Young Professionals programme, which aims to help young oil and gas professionals gain communication and learning agility skills.

On a slightly less serious note, visitors will also be able to take part in the 9th IPTC Exhibition Tour. By getting their IPTC Passport stamped as they travel around the exhibition, visitors will be entered into a prize draw to win the latest gadgets.
