Pomac BV (“Pomac”), a Dutch company which develops and manufactures hygienic pumps, has become part of Atlas Copco Group.

Celeros Flow Technology (Celeros FT) has announced the appointment of David Young to the newly created post of Aftermarket Service Development Director. The news comes as the company seeks to extend the global reach of its aftermarket support and further improve the range of lifecycle services it offers customers.

NETZSCH Pumps & Systems presents a new version of the recently launched NEMO MY magnetically coupled pump. The progressing cavity pump is now available not only with a flexible coupling rod made of PA12 but also with a robust B or K joint. The new version allows the innovative magnetically coupled pump to cover an even more comprehensive range of applications.

A mine in northern Chile has doubled its lithium extraction rate since installing Atlas Copco’s WEDA drainage pumps. Operators at the South American mine wanted to improve their lithium extraction process and turned to Atlas Copco’s distribution partner, TRILE, for expert advice and a reliable solution. In addition to optimising its process, the mine has also reduced its maintenance costs by 60%.

Wastewater from ethylene production in chemical and petrochemical industries as well as in petroleum refineries poses a particular challenge in terms of water treatment. As it contains hazardous pollutants such as sulfides and mercaptans, that do not respond to traditional treatment methods, chemical companies and refineries resort to Wet Air Oxidation (WAO).

Lutz-Jesco will be presenting a disinfection system for pool water called MINICHLORGEN T 30 Skid I. The system uses electrolysis to produce disinfectant from commercially available salt (sodium chloride) on site as required and is aimed at operators of private pools and small swimming pools who are looking for effective water disinfection with little effort and a high level of safety.
