Armstrong Fluid Technology has received the award for Smart Project of the Year 2023 at the 8th Edition of the RetrofitTech MENA Summit. The prestigious awards ceremony celebrates key players in the energy efficiency, sustainability and retrofitting sectors in the MENA region, highlighting the best projects, initiatives and innovators the industry has to offer.

Armstrong Fluid Technology was recognized for its cutting-edge smart solutions that have amplified energy efficiency within the Park Hyatt hotel in Doha. By combining high quality hardware with artificial intelligence and IoT capabilities, Armstrong Fluid Technology’s HVAC equipment retrofit generated outstanding energy savings of $31,902 in just one year.

The company’s patented Design Envelope variable speed pumps, Parallel Sensorless Pump Control technology and Pump Manager remote monitoring software were installed to optimize HVAC performance within the hotel. The strategic combination of technologies not only improved occupant comfort and safety, but also boosted system efficiency by 75%.
