Atlas Copco has Acquired a Chinese Manufacturer of Medical Oxygen Solutions

Shandong Meditech Medical Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2003 and is located in Jinan, with sales companies in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Australia. The company is privately owned and has 70 employees.
Shandong Meditech manufactures oxygen generators and sells solutions for onsite oxygen generation for medical use in hospitals and for medically prescribed home use. The company had revenues of approximately 86 MCNY (around MSEK 114*) in 2021.
“Shandong Meditech is a respected company and a well-known brand,” said Vagner Rego, Business Area President Compressor Technique. “This acquisition will strengthen our product offering and expertise, as well as increase our presence in one of the world’s largest oxygen markets - the healthcare market. Shandong Meditech’s customers will meanwhile benefit from increased service reach through Atlas Copco’s global network.”
The purchase price is not disclosed. The acquired business will become part of the Medical Gas Solutions Division within the Compressor Technique Business Area.
