Guided safety acceptance test for Sinamics frequency converters for easy machine validation

With the NORDAC PRO SK 500P, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS possesses a control cabinet inverter for virtually every drive application. It is available in variants with a power range of 0.25 to 22 kW, which can be assigned to different requirements in different industries. At present, the system supplier is working to extend the power range.

Siemens converters Sinamics G220, S200, and V20, as well as the Simotics S-1FK2 motor, now come with an Environmental Product Declaration. This declaration is based on a comprehensive life cycle assessment according to ISO 14021.

The Industrial Systems Division Europe of Parker Hannifin has announced the launch of its new AC20F drive controller. The modular drive was specially developed for motor control in hydraulic applications. At the beginning of 2023, the KSB Group is going to launch a new submersible borehole pump series onto the market. Named UPA S 250, this pump series will extend the manufacturer’s range of well pumps. It is designed for use in general water supply, agriculture, mine dewatering and ground water management as well as for general pressure boosting tasks, for example.

In 2018 the regulations for drinking water hygiene in Europe were tightened. Applications affected are those where gradual microbial contamination of stagnating water could contaminate the mains water in the event of backflow.
