Founded by the British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA) in 2000, the Pump Industry Awards program celebrates the outstanding achievements of pump companies and individuals.

Judges commented on Tango pump’s impressive levels of efficiency and innovative Parallel Sensorless Pump Control. Using advanced design, embedded intelligence and connectivity, as well as motor efficiency exceeding the IE4 standard, Tango pumps promise to deliver energy savings of more than 30 percent compared to traditional approaches.

Wayne Rose, Armstrong’s UK Acquisition Integration Leader, who accepted the award on behalf of Armstrong Fluid Technology said, “These awards are particularly important to our industry because they focus entirely on pump technology and celebrate the achievements of the world’s very best fluid technology design engineers. We’re extremely proud that our Design Envelope Tango pump has been selected for this award from a shortlist of outstanding examples of new product design.”

The Pump Industry Awards accolade marks the end an extremely successful year for Armstrong’s Design Envelope Tango pump. It has won multiple industry-awards internationally including the Energy Efficient Product or Innovation category at the prestigious 2019 CIBSE Building Performance Awards, the Commercial Air Conditioning Product of the Year title at the HVR Awards and the Best Innovation in Automation category at the RetrofitTech Summit in Dubai.
