Inpro/Seal VB45-S Bearing Isolator Receives Breakthrough Product Award

25.01.2018

The Inpro/Seal VB45-S Bearing Isolator has been awarded a Processing magazine 2017 Breakthrough Products Award for being an influential and innovative solution that has made contributions to the process industries within the past year.

The Processing Breakthrough Products Awards recognize manufacturers that develop novel solutions to help manage and navigate tough processing environments and meet changing standards for modern processing facilities. The awards, 10 of which were presented in 2017, celebrate major innovations as well as incremental improvements that increase efficiency, productivity and, ultimately, the bottom line.

The Inpro/Seal VB45-S Bearing Isolator continues the Inpro/Seal line of industry-leading Bearing Isolator designs that increase equipment reliability through permanent bearing protection.

Like all Inpro/Seal Bearing Isolators, the VB45-S design protects against contamination ingress and lubrication loss. The VB45-S Bearing Isolator utilizes Inpro/Seal’s patented XX Interface coupled with an enlarged contamination chamber to achieve an IP66 rating, the standard for premium ingress protection against both harmful particulates and liquids, making it one of the best performing Bearing Isolators available. For superior protection against lubrication loss, the VB45-S utilizes either an enlarged D-Groove to capture oil and return it to the bearing housing or a grease band to block grease from traveling down the shaft and escaping from the bearing housing.

With an overall (axial) length of only 0.625 in. (15.88 mm), the VB45-S Bearing Isolator is the most compact IP66 rated Bearing Isolator available. A short overall length allows for easy installation, often without the need for equipment modifications. The VB45-S Bearing Isolator, as with all Inpro/Seal Bearing Isolators, can be shipped the same day orders are placed, ensuring our customers get their equipment operating as quickly as possible.
