Ebara’s Acquisition of a Brazilian Pump Manufacturer
Ebara Industrias Mecânicas e Comercio Ltda (“Ebara Brazil”)has completed the procedure of acquiring all of the outstanding shares of Thebe Bombas Hidráulicas SA (“Thebe”)a company engaged in the manufacture and sale of pump products mainly in Brazil.
Ebara Brazil celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, will have top market share of deep well pumps in Brazil. Thebe s small land pumps will expand the product line-up at the time of the acquisition. In addition, Thebe will strengthen and optimize the sales network with its more than 4,000 pump dealers throughout Brazil. The Ebara Group, will continue to further expand its pump business in Brazil and South America market.
It should be noted that all of the outstanding stock transferred per the agreement of Ebara Brazil and Thebe will be published on September 18th.
