Pioneer Pump Promotes Travis Horak to Procurement/Planning Manager

Travis Horak, formerly the manager of Planning, will be the new manager of the Procurement/Planning Group. Travis will continue to report to Dan Kaplan, Operations Manager for Canby, Oregon.

Travis has been with Pioneer Pump since July, 2010. He is a Manufacturing Engineer, trained at Oregon State. He was instrumental in implementing the first ever assembly line, QCS (Quality) Program, ERP selection and implementation, and planning organization. Since taking over Planning, almost one year ago, Travis has led Pioneer in making great strides in streamlining our planning functions in order to better serve the production line, sales, and ultimately, our customers. Going forward, Travis will be instrumental in leading the effort to further develop our procurement/planning activity – specifically as it relates to cost savings and inventory turns.
