IDEX Corporation Appoints Mark F. McDonald as President of Rheodyne

IDEX Corporation announced that Mark F. McDonald has been named president of its Rheodyne business unit. McDonald, 52, succeeds James C. Noonan, whose plan to leave was announced in July when IDEX acquired Rheodyne. McDonald will report to Jeffrey L. Hohman, president - precision flow products.

Commenting on the appointment, Hohman said, "Mark brings considerable management, sales, and technical experience in the sophisticated analysis systems business to Rheodyne. His knowledge, skills, and experience will help IDEX's newest acquisition continue to grow and expand its market share."

McDonald was previously president of Hitachi Instruments, Inc. Prior to this, he held sales and technical positions there and at Perkin-Elmer and Bayer Corporation. McDonald received an undergraduate degree in chemistry and an honorary doctor of science degree from Missouri Western State College.

Headquartered in Rohnert Park, California, Rheodyne is the largest manufacturer of high performance liquid chromatography sample injectors in the world.
