ITT Industries Names Stormy T. W. Hicks President of Global Fluid Handling Systems Group

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., May 31 /PRNewswire/ -- ITT Industries today announced the appointment of Stormy T. W. Hicks as President of its global Fluid Handling Systems Group.

The unit produces plastic and metal tubing systems and connectors, such as those used in fuel and brake lines for the

transportation industry. The business employs 5,100 people and has

manufacturing operations in the United States, Mexico, Canada, France and Germany.

Hicks was most recently Vice President and General Manager of the Aeroquip Fluid Connectors and Industrial Plastics Divisions of Eaton Corporation.

Prior to that, Hicks spent more than 20 years with Ford Motor Company in a variety of positions, including Director of Worldwide Logistics Planning, Procurement and Operations. He also completed two international assignments at Ford, in Mexico and Brazil.

Hicks holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, a Master's degree in Organizational Communications from Cornell University, and is a Doctor of Philosophy candidate at Wayne State University. He also sits on several Boards of Directors, including the Michigan Minority Business Development Council, the Native American Business Alliance and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Advisory Council.
