Valmet and Flootech Enter Partnership to Advance Water Treatment

Valmet and Flootech have on May 23, 2024, signed a partnership agreement to further enhance collaboration in providing advanced water treatment solutions.

Through the partnership Flootech will provide profound technical and commercial expertise to Valmet’s customers. The offering will include water treatment and recycling solutions, process water treatment, effluent treatment and reuse as well as sludge dewatering.

“Water scarcity and efforts to reduce environmental footprint are driving the need for more advanced solutions to reduce, re-use and recycle effluents from the pulp and paper industry. The partnership with Flootech enables us to deliver cost competitive and efficient water treatment solutions to our board, paper, and tissue customers. It is a good strategic fit with Valmet’s climate program, and we are happy extend the collaboration to a partnership with the leading provider of water expertise and technologies across the globe,” says Petri Rasinmäki, Business Line President, Paper, Valmet.
