It’s exciting news that the 2017 International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) will return to the glitter of Las Vegas this coming January. Behind the glitz of a city to which many exhibitors and attendees love to flock, however, lies numerous years of advance, strategic planning by the Show’s management, International Exposition Company.

The current number of registrations for this year s IFAT India, India’s leading trade fair for environmental technologies, is exceeding expectations: Around 150 exhibitors have confirmed their participation in the upcoming event (September 28 to 30 in Mumbai).

Following a successful Asian debut last year, the Mostra Covegno Expocomfort (MCE) Asia exhibition will return for a second edition in Singapore. To be held from 7 to 9 September at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, the exhibition will have a renewed focus on increasing efficiency and reducing wastage and energy use in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC-R) sector, plumbing technology, sanitary accessories and renewable energy equipment.

In the years to come the water industry will face huge challenges both at national and international level, particularly where the environment and sustainability are concerned. Leading speakers representing science and the practical sphere, water management associations, universities as well as companies from Germany and neighbouring countries will address the latest industry issues and developments at the congress of Wasser Berlin International 2017.

Between 1990 and 2014 the level of environmentally harmful greenhouse gases in Turkey rose rapidly, to 468 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent. According to Germany Trade & Invest, the company that deals with Germany s external business and the marketing of the country as an economic location, the Indian environmental technology market is on a double-digit upward trend.
