Atlas Copco has acquired the operating assets of FS Medical Technology Business (FS Medical), based in California, USA. The business services, sells, verifies, and tests piped medical and laboratory gas equipment and systems.

In another challenging year, GEA succeeded in increasing all key performance indicators in fiscal year 2022. Order intake rose by a substantial 8.7 percent to EUR 5.68 billion and revenue grew significantly by 9.8 percent to EUR 5.16 billion. EBITDA before restructuring expenses climbed 14 percent to EUR 712 million and the corresponding EBITDA margin increased once again by 0.5 percentage points to 13.8 percent.

In 2022, GF’s business momentum further accelerated, mainly driven by increasing sales of products and solutions with environmental or social benefits. Xylem announced that Earl Ellis has been appointed to the Company’s Board of Directors. Mr. Ellis currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of ABM Industries Incorporated, a facility services company with approximately $8 billion in annual revenue. In addition to his role at ABM, Ellis brings 25 years of experience from across the finance function in large, publicly traded companies.

From a small workshop in Selb to an internationally successful mechanical engineering group: NETZSCH is ringing in its 150th anniversary year – and over 4,100 employees worldwide are joining in the celebration. The beginning is a copy of the same start-up pattern we often see today: Two brothers set up their own business in 1873 and, in a small workshop in Selb, developed a quality product that won over the fire departments of the region.

Changes will take place at the top of the Endress+Hauser Group at the beginning of 2024. As previously announced, Dr Klaus Endress will give up his responsibilities as president of the Supervisory Board. He is to be succeeded by CEO Matthias Altendorf. The new CEO of the Group will be Dr Peter Selders, the present head of the center of competence for level and pressure measurement technology.
