ABB announced that Tarak Mehta, President Motion Business Area and Member of the Executive Committee, has decided to leave ABB since he has accepted the role as CEO of another company. Tarak will leave ABB at the end of July this year.

After more than 30 years, Hanns-Henrik Vogel and Jens-Uwe Vogel, founders of the software company VSX – VOGEL SOFTWARE GmbH, hand over the management of the company to Matthias Siegel, who will take over as Managing Director on April 1, 2024. The new owner Everfield also welcomes this decision and is actively involved in supporting Matthias with the resources and guidance to ensure a good and successful start.

Sulzer recently celebrated the official launch of a brand new test and assembly center built alongside its existing pump manufacturing facility in Mexico City. The new state-of-the-art facility features a 10-meter-deep hydraulics test bed for large pumps, a digital monitoring system and a dedicated packaging area.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Axel Stepken, CEO of TÜV SÜD Stiftung, will stand for election by shareholders as a new member of the Supervisory Board of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft at the Annual General Meeting on April 30, 2024. In the event of his election, the Supervisory Board has appointed him as a member of the Supervisory Board’s Presiding and Sustainability Committee.

Pauline Kao, Consul General for North Rhine-Westphalia at the U.S. Consulate General in Düsseldorf, visited the Wilopark in Dortmund. There, she exchanged views with Wilo Group President & CEO Oliver Hermes on current issues regarding transatlantic relations and learned about the technology group’s pioneering role in the areas of sustainable and smart industrial processes.
