QED Environmental Systems, Inc. has announced the appointment of MGS as a new distribution partner for the UK. Founded as Marton Geotechnical Services in 1988, MGS is a Suffolk-based manufacturer and supplier of specialist environmental products.

Binding targets for and holistic commitment to climate protection: together with Group parent Salzgitter AG the KHS Group pledges to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions. The results of the now completed validation by the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) confirm that the German systems supplier is on the right course.

Uniwater, one of the Nordic region’s groups in water infrastructure, has acquired Kudsk, a Danish company that operates in hot tapping, line blocking and leak monitoring of water infrastructure and district heating. The acquisition strengthens Uniwater’s offering geographically in maintenance services with lower environmental impact.

Vanessa Hellwing has been appointed to the ANDRITZ AG Executive Board as of January 1, 2025. She will succeed Norbert Nettesheim as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on March 28, 2025.

The Wilo Group has been named “Europe’s Climate Leader 2024”. For this accolade, the Financial Times and the statistics portal Statista evaluated hundreds of European companies based on their progress in reducing their carbon emissions.

The British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA) is delighted to announce the addition of three companies to its membership roster: Innomotics Motors and Large Drives Limited, Bruynseels Ltd, and UK Flowtechnik. Xylem (XYL) announced that teams from the Philippines and Algeria were the grand prize winners of its 2024 Xylem Global Student Innovation Challenge. The annual program invites high school and university students worldwide to develop solutions to the world’s biggest water challenges.
