The importance of reliable employees in times of multiple crises was demonstrated at Lutz Holding’s Oktoberfest in Wertheim. To mark the 70th anniversary of the globally active family business, employees from 16 sales and production sites around the world came together to look back over the past few years, celebrate what has been achieved and raise a glass to the future.

Xylem Inc. has named Meredith Emmerich Senior Vice President and President, Applied Water, effective October 21. Emmerich will join Xylem’s senior leadership team, reporting to President and Chief Executive Officer Matthew Pine.

“WELTEC BLUE WATER” now replaces Kumac. With this new name, WELTEC BIOPOWER is responding to international market requirements for its tried and tested slurry and digestate treatment systems. In recent years, 17 plants have already been put into operation worldwide. The first WELTEC BLUE WATER plant in Germany has also been in operation since March 2024.

On January 1, Marc Schaad, the long-standing CTO, will take over the operational management of the Kistler Group from Rolf Sonderegger, who has led the group as CEO for 22 years. Marc Schaad is a mechanical engineer and graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH).

GF and Joost Geginat, President of GF Piping Systems and member of the GF Executive Committee, have mutually agreed that Joost Geginat will take on a new role within the Corporation and therefore step down from his position with immediate effect. GF CEO Andreas Müller will take over the management of GF Piping Systems on an interim basis.

The Energy Company of EBARA CORPORATION will open a new service shop for Energy Company products in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates in the fourth quarter of FY2025. In addition, in June 2025, we will expand the capacity of the service shop currently in operation at its flagship location in Houston, Texas, United States.

ESA Service S.r.l, (“ESA Service”), a company designing and manufacturing leak detection and gas recovery systems, will become part of Atlas Copco Group.
