Pioneer Pump, a global leader in hydraulic engineering, is pleased to announce that Shawn Kelly has joined Pioneer Pump as the Regional Sales Manager for the South Central Region. Effective immediately, Shawn will assume responsibility for the region.

Net sales during the second quarter were $103.9 million compared to $109.7 million during the second quarter of 2014. Domestic sales decreased 10.8% or $8.3 million while international sales increased 7.9% or $2.5 million compared to the same period in 2014. Sales in the water end markets were comparable between periods as they increased $700,000 or 1.0% and sales in non-water end markets decreased 19.2% or $6.5 million during the quarter.

Xylem announced that Michael T. Speetzen, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has resigned his position with the Company to accept another chief financial officer position, effective July 30, 2015.

As announced on 28 May 2015, the Management Board of BWT Aktiengesellschaft (BWT Group), which is listed on the official trading of the Vienna Stock Exchange, intends to propose to the Annual General Meeting on 25 August 2015 the merger of BWT Aktiengesellschaft with an unlisted company (BWT Holding AG) by way of absorption. The Supervisory Board has approved the planned merger.

Xylem today announced that Kairus Tarapore will join the Company as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, effective July 27, 2015. Reporting to Xylem President and Chief Executive Officer Patrick Decker, Tarapore will lead the development and execution of the Company’s human resources strategy in support of Xylem’s business goals and strategic priorities.

Halliburton Company and Baker Hughes Incorporated (NYSE: BHI) today announced that they have entered into a timing agreement with the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) pursuant to which both companies have agreed to extend the period for the DOJ’s review of Halliburton’s previously announced acquisition of Baker Hughes to the later of November 25, 2015 or 90 days after both companies have certified substantial compliance with the DOJ’s second request.

Renesas Electronics Corporation announced the appointment, effective as of July 1, 2015, of Hideto Hidaka as the newly-established Chief Technology Officer (CTO), reporting directly to Takao Endo, Representative Director, Chairman & CEO. Hidaka will also serve concurrently as a Senior Vice President.
