Xylem Lowara and Vogel Mobile App for Quick Pump Selection

05.10.2012

Xylem has launched a new pump selection mobile phone app for contractors and specifiers within the residential and commercial water markets.

Based on the company’s popular desktop software, ‘Xylect’ is now available to download free of charge from the Apple Appstore and Google Playstore and spans the full Xylem Lowara and Vogel ranges of pumping equipment in both iOS and Android formats.

The quick product search function allows users to search for the pumps they need by using the series or model number or duty point information. The app then provides comprehensive product data for the selected model which includes curves and dimensions.

Rigels Hoxhaj, AWS Xylect software administrator at Xylem comments on the importance of the new mobile phone app: “We constantly strive to make finding the correct pumping equipment as simple as possible for our customers. The launch of the Xylect desktop software proved to be a valuable tool for contractors and specificers alike and we are pleased to be able to develop this online offering even further."

“With the global reliance on smartphones set to increase, bringing the convenience benefits of an app to our customers was an obvious step to make. Being able to access technical information when on-site or on the road will be of great benefit to our busy customers who will no longer have to be at their desks to order pumps.”

The Xylect mobile phone app is avaliable in numerous languages and can be synchronised to a customer’s desktop version so that any saved projects can be accessed on the go. To get the most out of the new Xylect app, new customers can register for full functionality through the desktop version or by contacting the local superuser.
