VSX Is Celebrating its 30th Anniversary

The initial idea was simple yet innovative: develop a program to optimize the tedious search for pumps in catalogs. Based on Windows 3.0 and 3.1 operating systems, this concept evolved into a program in the 1990s that standardized pump selection using software for the first time. The small startup developed rapidly, and just a few years later, the team had grown considerably. In 1998, the original IPSI software was replaced by the Spaix program, which is now used by many pump manufacturers, including international ones.
The working environment changed as well: the premises became larger, and the workforce steadily grew. Today, VSX employs around 25 people and has been realigned under the leadership of Christoph Becker, the new CEO. Since 2023, VSX has been part of the European Everfield Group, a software holding company that provides long-term support to fast-growing B2B companies.
The Spaix software is now in its sixth generation. In addition to the desktop version, the product range includes a web version and a mobile web app. Its functionality has been continuously expanded and improved. The latest version emphasizes energy efficiency and sustainability. Users can compare pumps based on energy criteria and gain insight into CO₂ emissions and potential operating costs.
