ViscoTec Opens a Branch in Pune, India

New subsidiary in in India: The german engineering company ViscoTec Pumpen- u. Dosiertechnik GmbH already opened its fourth subsidiary worldwide – besides ViscoTec India Pvt. Ltd. there are branches in the USA, in Singapore and in Shanghai.

The branch in India was started in conjunction with the German Chamber of Commerce (AHK) and this is where the office of ViscoTec India is located – in the building of AHK. The branch is mainly planned as a sales and service organization with the objective of opening up new markets. “It is not only important to realize our objective of internationality, but above all to foster proximity to the customers as a local contact and to expand the range of services”, explains Georg Senftl, Managing Director of ViscoTec GmbH.

Vivek Ghewari, branch manager and local contact, starts his own career at ViscoTec along with the Indian branch. Vivek is a mechanical engineer and speaks fluent German due to his study of mechatronics in Hamburg. After his technical studies, Vivek completed a 3-year management trainee program at Continental. When looking for a German company in India where he can prove his technical ability as well as his management knowledge he made a find at ViscoTec. The Indian branch is already the fourth of ViscoTec Pumpen- u. Dosiertechnik GmbH. The american branch in Kennesaw, Georgia was founded in November 2009. Only two years later ViscoTec Asia based in Singapore was founded. Since 2013 there is a further branch in Shanghai.
