USP VI Approved Pharmaceutical Series Pumps by Tapflo

A split frame machine that features a line of new anti-deformation rounding pads to protect high-purity thin-wall tubing in food and pharmaceutical process applications has been introduced by Esco Tool of Holliston, MA.

The Supervisory Board of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft has appointed Bernd Brinker (58) as interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from October 16, 2023. For a period of one year, he will succeed Marcus A. Ketter, who passed away suddenly on August 6, 2023.

Andreas Renschler, former member of the Management Board of both Daimler AG and Volkswagen AG, joins the Supervisory Board of GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft as a new member by appointment of Düsseldorf Local Court effective September 1, 2023.

GEA will invest around EUR 50 million in the modernization of its German centrifuge production facilities in Oelde (North Rhine-Westphalia) and Niederahr (Rhineland-Palatinate) by the end of 2024. The engineering group made the announcement at a press conference marking the 130th anniversary of GEA separation technology at its Oelde site.

In many applications, metering ingredients in the pharmaceutical or food industry for example, pumps are required that not only can be precisely controlled in terms of flow rate and dosing time, but also convey the ingredients particularly gently.

After almost two years of construction, the day finally arrived: The first pump was assembled at the NETZSCH Campus in Waldkraiburg and afterwards prepared for shipment. With the opening of assembly at the new location, the course was set for a successful corporate future: “Today is a milestone in the history of NETZSCH Pumps & Systems.
