The Pentair Foundation Awards More than 40 Grants Totaling $750,000 to Community-Based Organizations Around the World

Pentair announced its eighteenth consecutive year of philanthropic giving by The Pentair Foundation. Community grants totaling more than $750,000 were awarded to 41 organizations representing the regions of the world where Pentair operates-from North America to India and Africa-and are focused on providing services related to water, food and education.

"As a global company with the resources, technologies and values to make a positive impact, we are committed to helping improve the quality of life of people around the world," said Randall J. Hogan, Chairman and CEO. "The community grant program is one initiative within the Pentair Foundation aimed at supporting the communities where our employees live and work."

The Pentair Foundation supports the company s mission of improving the quality of life of people around the world through philanthropic efforts focused on providing greater access to clean, safe water and food, investing in sustainable agriculture to increase food production, promoting STEM education, and supporting the communities where its employees live and work. It advances these efforts through the community grant giving program, as well as strategic partnerships and employee volunteerism with organizations aligned with these focus areas.

Community grants were awarded to organizations both local and global in reach, including Science Buddies, Water for People, Friends of Africa Education, Opportunity International, EPICS, and multiple chapters of the Boys & Girls Clubs, among others.
