Siemens Presents Sinamics G200 Frequency Converter Driving General Applications

With the Sinamics G210, Siemens expands its drive portfolio with a versatile converter for continuous motion applications.

Enlaza, the transmission company of Grupo Energía Bogotá, has awarded international technology group ANDRITZ an order to supply five synchronous condensers to Colombia. The equipment – the first of its kind in Colombia – will strengthen grid stability and support the integration of renewable energy sources in the Colombian Caribbean region.
