Hanratty is now responsible for expanding global sales, marketing and reseller recruitment and support, including directly overseeing sales activities in Europe and Asia. Hanratty’s new role as VP of Global Sales was effective January 1, 2020. TurboTides is the latest and most advanced, fully integrated design system for turbomachinery, including pumps, compressors, turbines (gas and steam), turbochargers and fans/blowers.
“In the past year, TurboTides’ operations have exceeded growth expectations,” said Xuwen Qiu, Ph.D., Founder and President of TurboTides. “He excels at sales strategy and client management, and he has implemented a winning formula in the Americas that we anticipate will lead to an equally impressive global growth."
Hanratty joined TurboTides as Director of Sales - Americas in January 2019 and has since established the company’s national sales channels in North, Central and South America. He has more than 30 years of experience in direct and channel sales management, having enjoyed a long career in sales of advanced engineering software at some of the industry’s most well-known companies. Hanratty most recently was a regional sales director for the Americas and East Asia at Concepts NREC. He has held executive and senior sales positions at ANSYS, Inc., MSC Software Corporation and Autodesk, Inc.
“We have experienced an amazing industry response to the TurboTides software,” said Hanratty. “Customers truly are impressed with its unparalleled capabilities as well as its modern, intuitive and seamless workflow. I look forward to expanding our sales into the global market while continuing to support our growth in the Americas.”
Hanratty has a Bachelor of Science in business management from the Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine University. He also studied business administration, management and operations at the Quinlan Graduate School of Business at Loyola University of Chicago.
“TurboTides is a genuinely new and innovative turbomachinery software,” added Hanratty. “I continue to be impressed with the technology, because it is so comparatively easy to learn and use. As a result, TurboTides is of interest to companies using older commercial turbomachinery design software as well as those who have shied away from commercial tools as too complicated to use, too difficult to learn or too expensive. I am proud to be presenting TurboTides to the global turbomachinery design and analysis community.”
