The company serves a variety of sectors across Europe, including drilling, geothermal, groundwater, landfill, rail, and rigs and tooling, while also offering engineering, fabrication and distribution services.

In a landmark agreement between the two companies, MGS will now distribute QED’s leading range of gas analysers and pumps for the landfill market, including the GA5000, GEM5000, and Biogas5000, alongside the full AutoPump range, spanning the AP2, AP3, and AP4+.

Ryan Cox, Sales Director at QED Environmental Systems, said: “QED and MGS have long enjoyed a strong relationship based on mutual respect. This history, alongside MGS’ expertise in the landfill and pumping sectors, and shared values of excellent customer service and proven quality, makes them an ideal distribution partner for us.

“QED remains active in the UK market and maintains a dedicated ground presence to support and sell our instruments. With the addition of MGS, we are taking this one step further and ensuring that we continue to serve the needs of the market to the best of our ability.”

Richard Houghton, Technical Sales Engineer at MGS, added: “QED is a well-known name in the UK, and has an established presence that we hope to build on. Their products are renowned for their quality, which makes them a perfect fit for our portfolio. Our locations across the UK and comprehensive distribution network will allow us to deliver swift sales and servicing for customers, which is a true win-win for both companies.

“Overall, we are delighted to be working with QED and believe that both companies can benefit from the strength, capabilities, and reputation of one another. QED provides a foundation of products that will interest our customer base, and we look forward to exploring the possibilities and opportunities that will come with this.”
