Pfeiffer Vacuum Debuts New Internet Presence

Norway has a long tradition of catching and processing fish. The country ranks second in the world for exports behind China. Busch Vacuum Solutions, Pfeiffer Vacuum and centrotherm clean solutions are now united under the umbrella of the new Busch Group. Headquartered in Germany’s Black Forest, the Busch Group is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of comprehensive vacuum solutions, including vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, blowers, compressors and gas abatement systems.

Czech brewery Velké Popovice relies on technology from KHS: at the heart of a new glass line is the Innofill Glass DRS ECO filler. Velké Popovice uses the unfilled beer to cool the vacuum pump and thus save energy. With the installation of the rest of the line’s dry section planned for the start of the coming year, the brewery is thus relying solely on KHS technology – that also includes a number of holistic digital service solutions.

An R5 oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump from Busch Vacuum Solutions has been in service since 1987 in the production area of bakery and cake shop Feinbäckerei Ruch. It is still in use twelve hours a day for flour conveying at the bakery in Rosdorf, in the German upland region of Harz.

Government initiatives to reduce emissions are gathering momentum, especially with many countries aiming for net carbon zero by 2030 or 2050. The building and construction sector is a particular focus, as it accounts for a significant amount of global energy- and process-related CO2 emissions, approximately 37% in 2021(i).

The new rotary vane vacuum pump R5 RA 0520 A from Busch increases energy savings by up to 25%. It features a compact and hygienic design, reduced heat emissions, and enables faster and easier maintenance.
