Pentair Announces Community Grant Recipients
Pentair recently announced its eighteenth consecutive year of philanthropic giving by The Pentair Foundation.
In its first grant cycle of 2017, community grants totaling more than $250,000 were awarded to 14 organizations focused on providing services related to water, food and education.
Through its philanthropic programs, Pentair works to strengthen communities around the world by leveraging our expertise, talent, products and resources. The community grant program is one initiative within the Pentair Foundation aimed at supporting the communities where our employees live and work.
The Pentair Foundation supports the company s purpose of building a safer, more sustainable world through philanthropic efforts focused on providing greater access to clean, safe water and food, investing in sustainable agriculture to increase food production, promoting STEM education and supporting the communities where its employees live and work. It advances these efforts through the community grant giving program, as well as strategic partnerships and employee volunteerism with organizations aligned with these focus areas.
Grant recipients represent organizations both local and global in reach, including nationally and internationally-recognized organizations such as WISER International, Akilah Institute and The Conservation Fund, as well as organizations based in communities where Pentair has operations.
