New Eccentric Worm-Drive Pump for the Viscoflux mobile S Drum Emptying System

01.04.2019

The new version of the Flux Food eccentric worm-drive pump F 560 TR FOOD now has a clamp connection between the bearing flange and the outer tube. This increases the robustness of the structure. Even extremely viscous products such as 4X concentrated tomato puree and particularly high-viscosity Vaseline can now be transferred out of drums with the Viscoflux mobile S.

The additional clamp connection at the bearing flange also allows fast, tool-free disassembly of the outer tube. The mechanical seal is easily accessible and can be dismantled very easily for cleaning and service. Like all Flux Food pumps, all medium-contacting parts of the new eccentric worm-drive pump version F 560 S TR FOOD conform to the EG 1935/2004 and FDA CFR 21 regulations.

High-viscosity base materials, additives and end products can be transferred continuously, gently and safely with the Viscoflux mobile S for further processing or dispensing from drums. These materials include vegetable and fruit concentrates, nut creams, peanut butter, caramel and fats, but also media such as Vaseline, salves, mascara or lip gloss. Residue levels of less than 1 percent can be achieved.

Compared to manual drum emptying, users benefit from significantly reduced processing times. Processing in a closed system additionally ensures enhanced process safety. In contrast to stationary systems, the portable Viscoflux mobile S can be brought wherever it is needed. Thanks to an IP 66 rating, the process device can be easily cleaned with a water jet. It is made from stainless steel and can be safely operated in wet production environments.

Predicting Vertical Motor Resonance: A More Accurate Method to Protect Equipment

27.11.2025 -

Vibration in rotating machinery is a leading cause of premature failure, costly downtime, and safety hazards. For operators of vertical motors, one of the most important vibration-related concepts to understand is reed critical frequency (RCF). This natural frequency of a motor system plays a central role in determining whether a motor will operate smoothly or succumb to damaging resonance conditions.
