New Corporate Design for Lewa

26.06.2014

Over the past few years, Lewa GmbH has continued to grow strongly, and is also leading the pump and system business in the Nikkiso Group. In accordance with the overall strategy of the company, which plans continued organic growth and increased investment into the product portfolio, the new Corporate Design should reflect the value, power, and potential of the brand.

New Corporate Design for Lewa

Since emotions play an important role in the purchase decision even in the investment goods market, the new brand presence will have a modern, high-quality, flexible, brand-highlighting design. The new logo only retains the claim "Creating Fluid Solutions", intentionally eliminating the phrase "pumps + systems" as well as "Member of Nikkiso". Instead, an element from the trademark of the Japanese parent Nikkiso will be quoted: a slanted bar in the background, the so-called "Brand Originator", which symbolizes the upward path to solution provider status. In the future, it will serve as a visual recognition feature for the entire Lewa Group, and also indicate the relationship with Nikkiso.

From the point of view of corporate management, this step was the logical and necessary consequence of the overall strategy: During further expansion into new markets, the added value of the strong Lewa brand should be used, and its image of the high quality, reliability, and safety of its products should be transferred to new members of the group. In that context, the American subsidiary Integrated Process Technologies, Inc. will be renamed Lewa Process Technologies over the medium term. An exact timeframe for that step, however, is not yet planned. The relaunch in the other corporate divisions should be complete by Achema 2015.
