Morrison Pump Company Receives Order for Drainage Construction Project
Morrison Pump Company of Hollywood, Florida, was awarded the order to supply four high capacity diesel-drive storm drainage pump systems for the City of Hallandale Beach s NE Quadrant Drainage Construction Project.
Morrison shall provide four high-capacity Morrison Model VPS Axial Flow Pumps, each driven by Caterpillar C7 diesel engines.
The Morrison Strom Drainage Pumps are 7% higher efficiency than specified, and are environmentally friendly, having no oil and no grease. The new Hallandale Drainage System was designed by Calvin Giordano & Associates and will provide critical flood control and storm drainage to the Northeast Quadrant of the city, and prevent surface water runoff to the Intracoastal by pumping the storm water back into the ground. Lanzo Construction is the Prime Contractor and Calvin Giordano & Associates is the Engineer of Record.
